The weather has suddenly turned almost summer like - not only is it bringing on the spring flowers and trees but it is making boat work so much pleasanter! I have been down at the club working on my Ensign and the black top has been a veritable hive of activity- very exciting to see this as it is a sign of the approaching racing and sailing season.

Friday April 25 - Protest Committee training - by invitation
April 30 - Racing Rules Refresher
Sunday April 27 - Rust Buster - open to any one wanting to shake their bodies and boats out in preparation for the racing season
Weekend May 3&4 J-Daze - J24 only shake down race - expecting 35 - 40 boats
Weekend May 10 &11 J2 Jack Rabbit - a full blown regatta - expecting 15 boats
Thursday May 15 -Introduction to Racing for Absolute Beginners - CYC 7pm
Saturday May 17 - Race Committee Volunteer training - Water Front 10am
Sunday May 18 - First day of club racing
Thursday May 22 - Race Committee Volunteer training - Water front 7pm
Monday May 26 - Memorial Day Handicap Regatta - 1pm START (Skippers meeting 12noon)
