There has been a tremendous amount of working being done to ensure that all the necessary equipment is ready for racing. I have a Boat Committee consisting of John Wright, Keith Calkins & Mike Weber as its members, and they were given the charge of ensuring that all and any fixes to our club work boats were completed. I extend an enormous thank you to these 3 gentlemen for undertaking this task. While we are not a totally self help club we are also not a club where people are employed to maintain the facilities. It is the membership that cares and volunteers their time that enables CYC to function at the level it does, maintaining race equipment that is guaranteed to work when it is needed. Here is a list of the things that have been done:
Waldo
-Clean topsides/buff out any marks
-Replace bellows on outdrive
-Clean interior
-Forward bilge pump not working - we have a pump, just need someone willing to crawl into bilge pending.
-Rotted wood under cockpit just forward of engine compartment – This looks like bulk head by gas tank and could be structural. Not something we should or could mess with. Seager needs to check this out. Should also check motor mounts. If there is rot there, this could be a big problem - pending

Gads - your blog is very interesting as it does give an indication and view into the flag and how much work gets done. I am sure you wonder if anyone reads this stuff - well, at least I do. I feel tired even reading this!
